Does anyone know of a plugin that lets you couple 2+ images in terms of
zooming/panning? Ie any zoom/pan operation on image A is duplicated on image B so that both images have the same zoom level and are center at the same pixel? I'm not finding anything using the google... Thanks, Collin The information in this e-mail is intended only for the person to whom it is addressed. It is not an ImageJ plugin but you could try ImageScope from Aperio. The free version on their website should let you open and view multiple images. Select Manual Synchronize for linked pan/zoom.

Thanks Oli,
I realized I had come across that before but was stuck on the word "coupled" instead of "synchronized" and couldn't find it again. Oh, nice post! I want to do the same with an extra twist: I want to make a video going from one zoomed point to the next one showing the difference in both images. I'd like to start the video with the whole image and then zoom in to the different interesting points of the image. Do you know a way to do it?
I tried to do it (to just one image...) with a video editor, Videopad, but the images are way too big for it; when I zoom in I am not able to see anything because the software reduced the quality of the image. I also tried with Photofilmstrip, but this one is not even able to open the images. Following I leave you some extra info that may help you help me :) The images are around 21000x13000 px 8-bit images (~265MB). I generated them stitching with ImageJ around 70 images taken sequentially with a microscope. Thank you in advance m |
