creating 5 or more channel composites

Aryeh Weiss
Is there a way to create a composite image  from existing stacks with more
than 4 channels at one time?
I can use File>New>Hyperstack  and then paste in the stacks, but I wonder
if there is something similar to Image>Color>Merge...
(which allows me to create 4 channel composites).

The motivation for this was to add a channel to an existing hyperstack  by
appending a stack with the same z dimensions.
I figured that I could split channels and then assemble the new hyperstack.
In fact, this is what I do for up to 4 channels.

The Image>Color>Merge Channels command in the ImageJ 1.46h daily build works with up to 7 channels.

Thank you Wayne (yet again) for so quickly adding yet another featrue that
I needed.
Works as advertised...
