edit part of an image sequence

Cesar Mendes
Hello,

I have a movie which is saved as a png image sequence (around 300
pictures), that i can open with open>image sequence.
I want to delete an area of that image sequence but only in a part of
the image sequence, let's say from 150 to 300 and leave 1 to 149
intact. Any suggestions?
I tried to open just the section that want to edit but after asking me
if i want to save changes, it saves that section as a single TIFF
file...
Any comment would be helpful.
Thanks.
Cesar

Re: edit part of an image sequence

Dear Cesar,

Not sure what your problem is, selecting the sub-stacks or saving as tiff files.

For substacks try: Image-->Stacks-->Tools-->Make Substack.

You can make as many substacks as you want. Combine different substacks using 'concatenate' instead of 'Make Substack' in the above sequence.

To save as individual tiffs select: File-->Save As-->Image Sequence and select the format you want to use.

Hope this answers your question

Best wishes

Kees
