fiji mac os - opening a tif with rois

Daniel Matthews
Hi

I have observed something a bit odd about using FIJI in mac osx. I have a tif with point ROIs manually placed on the image. If I drag and drop onto the ImageJ gui the ROIs do not appear. However, if I open FIJI but then drag and drop the image onto the FIJI toolbar icon I get the ROIs back. Why would this happen?

Cheers,

Dan.

Uncheck the "Use SCIFIO when opening files" option in Edit > Options >
ImageJ2. (SCIFIO does not yet populate ROIs.)

Regards,
Curtis

P.S. This also illustrates another bug: dropping a file onto the dock icon
does not use SCIFIO, even when the option is checked. I filed a bug for it:
