Hi Dave,

Press L and type "shortcut". You'll see the command "Create Shortcut..."
listed among those matched. Run that command and it will let you assign a
keyboard shortcut to any command in ImageJ.

Regards,
Curtis

P.S. If there is only one thing you ever remember about ImageJ, it should
be "just press L!"

Re: fiji shortcut

Knecht, David
Thanks Curtis.  I will remember L (I hope) but it was not the problem.  I had tried Create Shortcut before and now I figured out why I could not get it to work due to something odd.  I looked through the alphabetical list of commands and did not see RGB Measure that I was trying to create the shortcut for.  On second look it turns out that RGB is not alphabetically correct, being listed before other words with R.  Where is that coming from and can it be fixed?  Thanks- Dave

My Fiji does not have a command called "RGB Measure".

Maybe whoever created that plugin actually named it " RGB Measure" with a
space prepended, for sorting purposes?

This is fixed in the latest ImageJ daily build (1.48v8). The Plugins>Shortcuts>Create Shortcuts command now ignores case when it sorts the list of commands.
