finding info from .TIF file

finding info from .TIF file

I Am a newbie in imaging but for a riddle I need to find some information out of an TIF file.
I tried all the basic options using IMAGEJ but did not found what I was looking for.

This is the link to the image:  http://nijhuis.me/Geocaching/Up_in_the_air.tif


I need to find X.XXX and Y.YYY
Note.  The value of X.XXX must be between 4300 and 7800
           The value of Y.YYY  must be between 0000 and 2900.

I hope someone can give me some useful advise.

Well, there is definitely something hidden in the picture. If you download
the original wallpaper from:

http://www.entertainmentwallpaper.com/images/desktops/movie/up_in_the_air02.jpg

Then subtract the two using the Image Calculator command (in Process menu)
you'll see:
  http://curtis.imagej.net/Up_in_the_air-diff.tif

But clearly some transformation or other is needed to make it appear as
intended.

Hi Curtis,

It looks like this is what I am looking for, it is a kind of formula that
is used often,
I will try to make it more visible, but once again, my skills for this kind
of stuf are terrible.

Hi,


To get the formula do what Curtis said but only on the green and the red
part of the RGB images:

1) click: Image>Color>Split Channels on your image and the original one.
2) Convert the green and red images to 32-bit
3) subtract green images using the Image Calculator command and do the same
with the red ones.

and you get 2 weird formula (there is nothing in the blue channel).

I manage to split both images, now I have a red and a green formula,
Searched for 3 hours but no idea so far what it is.
The master image is from the movie up in the air with George Clooney.
And the name of the riddle is Air travel.
My first thoughts where some signs from the cockpit dashboard, or some
alien signs.
The symbols in the formula must be translated into numbers.
Without knowing the numbers I can not say which formula ( red or green )
belongs to XXXX or YYYY
Because both formulas will give a 4 digit number when translated, this is
indeed what I try to find in the Image.

Wanna thank you all for your help, never could have made it without it.
Maybe someone has an Idea what the signs are, in that case????? tell
me!!!!!!!! lol

The last icon looks like this, rotated through 180
