folders in my plugins don't show up

Dear Members,

I installed MBF and copied it to the imagej plugins directory; but when I
start imagej now under plugin menu I see MBF submenu and inside it only I
see the macro submenu without the mbfplugins; this sounds strange for me; I
had now to copy all sub-folder into the main plugin in imagej; and that is
messing my plugins.
I am working under Ubuntu 11.10

Anyone came across this problem;

I have always noticed that only the first level of sub-folders in the plugins directory show up in ImageJ. I have assumed that this is by design.
