frame grabber for use with Dage MTI CCD72 camera

Peter Bradley
Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice on finding a cheap
solution for hooking up a Dage MTI CCD72 camera to a 450MHz PowerPC G4 Mac
computer running ImageJ. I know that there are certain frame grabbers that
are supported by ImageJ, for example the scion FG-7, but this costs $795...I
was hoping that it could be possible to use a cheap video card (<$100) that
would be compatable with imageJ (or another free program).

The microscope will be used simply for taking single frames of fluorescently
labelled cells, resolution and quality is not a concern (within reason), as
long as I can get the image.

Thanks for your consideration!

Pete.

Ruy
Have you tried to google an used Scion LG3 frame grabber?  It works fine with
the Dage CCD 72.

Good luck
