Hi,
When i use LOCI bioformats importer and select “color mode: grayscale” with the “split channels” function checked... when my channels are split they appear in colour. If i open the stack using LOCI bioformats and select “color mode: grayscale” WITHOUT the “split channels” function checked my stack opens as grayscale. However, if i do image > color > split channels... channels are split again in colour... but if i then do image > colour > channels tool > more > make composite and select grayscale... my image appears again in colour. After this... If i pull down from the dropdown menu and select grayscale, my image then turns grayscale. Is there some bug going on here or am i doing something wrong. Thanks Mike |

Hi Mike,
We fixed a bug relating to LUTs and grayscale display very recently. Have you tried the latest trunk build? If you still experience the problem, and can send us a sample dataset illustrating the problem, just let us know and we'll look into it. -Curtis On Wed, Jan 12, 2011 at 7:38 AM, trshrthrth rdthjdrtjdrtj < [hidden email]> wrote: > Hi, > > When i use LOCI bioformats importer and select “color mode: grayscale” with > the “split channels” function checked... when my channels are split they > appear in colour. > > If i open the stack using LOCI bioformats and select “color mode: > grayscale” WITHOUT the “split channels” function checked my stack opens as > grayscale.
