I was using manual tacking to track the velocity of cells by calculating it from the distance traveled. I thought using trackmate automatic tracking would yield comparable results, but when I compared the output velocities they were astronomically different. I was comparing velocity per hour using both methods of tracking. Does anyone know why they would be different? Theoretically if I'm using the same video I should be getting at least similar results. Is this an interpretation problem or an imageJ programming difference???
