After highlighting the changing pixels by subtracting using subsequent frames, I need to quantify the pixel changes in a timeseries stack. The result of subtraction however returns both black (0) and white (255) highlights, instead of just either one.
Can someone explain what the relevance of the black and the white highlights are? I probably am not seeing a simple point, but I was expecting to find only either black or white highlights.
