how to get rid of overflow pixels

Wei Shen-2
Dear all,

I have a trouble after math with a picture.  There are some bad overflow
pixels.  Is there a way to get rid of them without affecting other pixel
intensities?   Set those pixels to maximum values?

I tried 'enhanced contrast'.  I guess it will change the overall intensity
values.

Thanks a lot

You haven't given much information. Colour or monochrome? Have you tried converting to 32 bit first?
