how to measure collagen fiber thickness

i am doin a study on odontogenic cysts and have done staining with picrosirius red stain.now i need to measure the thickness of collagen fibers with image j.please guide me on how to go about it

I used picro red and imagej to analyse % fibrosis. I can talk you through that if you like.

But thickness - more difficult because each slice might not go through the thickest part of the fiber.
