Hello everyone,I hope this email finds you well. Need help please as not my area.I have an image of crystals attached (1a) taken using light contrast/prism gradient on a microscope.1- Any recommendation for a script or program (or plugin on imagej) available that might recognize particles (maybe by shape or as objects)... (I know nothing is like the brain:)).2- When I apply a simple 32 bit conversion then "background subtraction" (settings: 100 pixels, light background, and sliding paraboloid), I obtain image 1b.However if that is applied to image 2a, I get image 2b which shows a very different result (noise and dots)... maybe coz the program is auto analyzing the bckgd for each image differently. But even if I subtract image 2a with a similarly empty bckgd image the problem persists.
I can't apply it to a folder as a "batch" because the output images look mixed in the way of 1b or 2b even for some images that have a similar distribution as 1a.Kind regardstoufic el arnaout
