installing macros from editor

Gabriel Schweighauser
Dear List,

Unlike in older releases of imageJ in imageJ 1.49b the option to install
macros from within the editor (Ctrl - I or through the editors menu
under tools) has disappeared. The only thing you can do now is to go
through the launcher menu Plugins > Macros > Install ... which is more
cumbersome and makes the editor less useful.

So was this feature abandoned by choice or is it a bug?

Thanks for your replies!
Gabriel

I suspect you are referring to ImageJ 2.0.0-rc-3/1.49b here (which is in
the current version of the Fiji distribution of ImageJ).

This feature did not make it into the ImageJ2 script editor yet; my
oversight! I am sorry and will work on it (hopefully still this
afternoon). You can see the progress here:
https://github.com/imagej/imagej-legacy/issues/49 (and if you register
with GitHub, which is easy and free, you can even add your own
comments/encouragements/incentives... ;-).

Ciao,
Johannes
