Dear Group
I am getting the error "invalid option" no matter what images (including the test set) or setting I use. I down loaded the version that has all needed components except for turboreg, which I also installed. The system is running on XP64 OS, and I am think that this might be the issue. Is there any one else running this on XP64 system? Cheers RWC Richard Cole Research Scientist IV Director: Advanced Light Microscopy & Image Analysis Core Wadsworth Center P.O. Hello,
unfortunately the application doesn't produce very accurate error reports (at least not relating to the program input parameters). I haven't yet had the chance to test the program on a 64-bit OS. However, your problem might be related to whitespace characters either within the base image path or within the output file path. This is, of course, a bug in the application and the way it parses the GUI input, and I will address to it when we release the next version. So, place your image tiles into a directory with no whitespace characters and specify the output file in the same manner, and see if it works. As a side note, if LargeMontage seems to crash randomly due to JRE errors (e.g., during montage creation), I suggest you download and install new pre-release version of JAI. Hope this helps! Best regards, Vilppu |

Great program, you were correct about the error being whitespaces. BTW, it does work fine on xp64.
