lens of microscopy

Houssam hajjoul
Hello!
I have a small question if I have data obtained by 2 lenses 20x and 50x
and I wanna to analyse these data .
If I work with pixel scale I have best result on 20x then 50x or if I
work on um ou nm I have best resut on 50x .
So someone knows on  what scale is better to analyse data ?
Thanks
Houssam

Re: lens of microscopy

Depends what you want to measure and the precision you need.

But more importantly, you need to image a micrometer standard with each
objective that you are going to use.  The magnification rating on the side
of the objective is not always accurate and you need to check this
yourself.
