This seems to be a common problem with plugins made by a number of camera
manufacturers. If companies were a bit wiser and work together with the
users/developers, it would be a much more advantageous situation for all parts
involved.

I use the IJ Robot plugin (different camera, though) to contol the clicking on
certain predetermined positions on the screen (where the control dialogs are
expected). It is not neither a robust nor elegant solution, but it is better
than nothing as I can get multiple shots done from a macro.
