macro control of DAGE camera?

Smiley, John
ImageJ List:

I am trying to use a macro command to capture images from a DAGE XL15M
monochrome camera.   DAGE supplies a plugin for ImageJ, but this only
seems to work properly if the user clicks on their pop-up menu.  My
efforts using a macro command result in very slow image capture that
stalls after the first image.

I wonder if anyone has developed a method to circumvent this pop-menu,
using a DAGE camera.  (I notice their cameras are not listed on the
micromanager website).

Thanks for your help,

This seems to be a common problem with plugins made by a number of camera
manufacturers. If companies were a bit wiser and work together with the
users/developers, it would be a much more advantageous situation for all parts
involved.

I use the IJ Robot plugin (different camera, though) to contol the clicking on
certain predetermined positions on the screen (where the control dialogs are
expected). It is not neither a robust nor elegant  solution, but it is better
than nothing as I can get multiple shots done from a macro.
