macro help

Li, Tian
Hello dear ImageJ users,

I'm wondering if anyone is using imageJ to monitor the water uptake in
oocytes? Currently our lab switch from the old software to image J, sadly,
the macro used for the old software is not compatible with imageJ, so I'm
wondering if anyone can help me to convert the macro to image J compatible
one, I have the written down macro, just need to use the correct syntax for
image J, but I'm new to use Image J and have no clue about writing a macro,
so if anyone can give me a hint, it will be greatly appreciated.  I attach
the macro here.

Thanks,

Tian?

Re: macro help

Cammer, Michael
This paper simply used the analyze particles command.
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0020751905002948
DOI: 10.1016/j.ijpara.2005.08.013

"Swelling was video-monitored every 3 s with a Zeiss SV11 dissecting microscope (Zeiss, Göttingen, Germany) at 66×magnification, and a Retiga 1300 digital camera and IPLab software (Scanalytics, Fairfax, VA). Image analysis was accomplished with ImageJ software (National Institutes of Health, US; URL: http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/) by converting images to binary and treating the oocyte as a growing sphere whose volume could be inferred from its cross-sectional area."
