making a "cross section"

Peter Gregson
How do I create a "cross section" of an image?  I would normally call
it an intensity profile, but "profile" refers to ICC profiles in ImageJ

Thanks

Peter,
You can draw a line using a line selection tool, and choose "Anayze/Plot
Pofile", or press CTRL-K.
You will find details in the documentation at :
http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/docs/menus/analyze.html#plot
