montage images raster image pattern

Hi there

I would like to montage a group of images that form a grid but the images are taken in a raster pattern sequence so the grid looks like:

1-2-3
6-5-4
7-8-9 etc

the image files are numbered accordingly, how can I get these to montage together in the right sequence??
