overlapping several images

Yi Fu
Hi,

I want to overlap several images (more than 100 images) into one single image in order to get the maximum pixels of each image.
How can I do it by using ImageJ? I only know how to overlap two images now.

Thanks.

Hello,

if you have all your images in a stack already, how about Image>Stacks>Z
Project... > then select "Max Intensity" in the dropdown menu.

I hope this helps,

Daniel

If you mean that you want the maximum pixel intensity for each pixel
position, then the easiest method is to build a stack of images. Use
Image > Stacks > Z Project..., and choose Maximum from the drop down
list of options in the dialog.

Or did you mean that you needed to find the position of the brightest
pixel in each image?

Cheers,
Damon
