Hello all,
I'd like to analyze very large image stacks of bacteria. The bacteria are
growing and mostly stationary (the images tend to drift slightly over many
hours). It's important that I calculate how the area of each individual
cell is changing over time. The particle tracking plugins that I've found
are very good at tracking the positions of the bacteria, and the "analyze
particles" command accurately gives me the areas in each frame, but I
haven't been able to find a single plugin that will do both. Is this
something that exists and that I've just been unable to find, and if not, is
this something that is easy to implement myself? I have no experience with
writing this kind of routine. Any advice would be much appreciated.
