I finally found the time to completely test the new update of the TrackMate v2.0.0 and discovered 2 potential issues. Using the example file "TrackMate Split Merge Gapclosing.gif" (with increased image size to 256x256) I was not able to get merged or splitted tracks with the LoG detector (feature size 10px) normal LAP tracker (15-40px distance and 2-10 frames gap-closing tested). With the previous version this was no problem. Manually connect them with the TrackScheme is working fine. Nevertheless, I actually wanted to avoid that by using the LAP tracker. The funny thing is, that when I am using the same image in the original size (128x128) with the DoG detector, the track connection is working.
After trying a lot different combinations of settings I am actually lost solving the problem. So might that be an image related issue or just a mistake during usage?
Any kind of suggestions are appreciated
