Hello,
I am trying to add arrows on a video on imagej. when i use the arrow tool plug-in, i can add one arrow on the video, but when i add another one, the first one dissapears. i tried saving the video with the first arrow, and then adding the second arrow on the saved video containing the first arrow, but still, the first arrow dissapears. is there a key i should press (like ctrl+d for text) that saves the arrow on the video? Thank you very much for your help and have a nice day! -- Sent from: http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/ -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Perhaps you could flatten the image (Image > Overlay > Flatten) and save a temp version each time you add a new element.

For each error, press ctrl+b (Image>Overlay>Add Selection). You will need to first uncheck “Set stack positions” in Image>Overlay>Overlay Options if you want the arrows to appear on every video frame. The arrows will be saved with the video when you save in TIFF format. The overlay will be outomatically flattened (Image>Ovelay>Flatten) if you save in AVI (File>Save As>AVI) or GIF (File>Save As>Gif) format. -wayne > -- > Sent from: http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/ > -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |

A while ago I wrote a little macro that allows you to put ROIs including arrows onto a time series and allows you to set the start and end frame for each of the selections, see Image annotation macro at https://www2.le.ac.uk/colleges/medbiopsych/facilities-and-services/cbs/AIF/software-1/imagej-macros
