rectangle selection while running a macro, is it possible?

Bruno Jesus-6
Hello list,

Does anyone know if it is possible to add a step during a macro that asks to
the user for a rectangle selection? I'm writing a macro that should: (1)
open an image; (2) ask the user to make a rectangle selection with the mouse
and then (3) runs a series of functions on that selection. I'm doing ok on
nº 1 and nº 3 but can't figure out how to ask for the user input in the
selection.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Bruno
