Dear Folks,
I used to work on a software called scil-image and it had a function called
sigma, I used to call sigma with only one paramter (7), then I threshold my
images with threshold 1, and I could get my cells contour clearly. The
sigma function could concentrate only on high grey-values setting the
background noise to 0.
I am trying to find a similar function in imageJ, I found a plugin
Sigma_Filter_Plus, it takes 3 parameters (Radius, Use Pixels Within,
Minimum Pixel fraction), I tried to apply this to my images and it doesn't
seem to concentrate on my objects, as the background is still have a
grey_value higher than 0.
