I have been forwarded an image file from a coworker that I can not open.

The file is a *.AIM file

I was able to open the file in notepad in windows XP.  The file does
appear to be a text file as I discovered with the links below.  Has
anyone opened this type of file using Image J?  Any help is appreciated.

A quick search on the web reveals several hits:

An AIMMS ASCII model file is a three-dimensional image that has been
saved in a text format so it can be viewed as words rather than a
picture.

AIM is AIMMS models that contains an operations model created using the
AIMMS modeling language and save in a text format. similar to an .AMB
file, but saved as an ASCII text file instead of a binary file. It is
