new version of IJ is giving me much higher Area values

Hi all -

I've been using ImageJ for a couple of years for densitometry (measuring gel bands).  I have been using the same version since late 2008, but recently (~March 2011) downloaded a new version bundled with Java.  Now, my Area measurements are approximately twice what I was getting with the previous version.  Any thoughts on why this is, and whether it is an issue?
