Hi

To execute code one line at a time, one probably needs to use a debugger. IMHO the best way to do this is to download Eclipse for Java developers<http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/heliossr2> and follow one of the Image-J/Eclipse tutorials on the Wiki (perhaps try this one<http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=howto:plugins:the_imagej_eclipse_howto>). If you've not used an IDE like Eclipse before, the help feature has some good tutorials.

Subject: An editor where one can execute blocs of code?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a way to work on some imageJ code with
another editor than the text window? I have seen and installed the IJ
editor, but it seems not to have the functionalities I was searching
for, i.e., execute a line or bloc of code for example. Maybe I missed
something.

Thanks for any information.

Emmanuel
