need image capture solution

Hello All,

I am in need of some solution to capture images from a microscope and
display live video at reasonable framerates (30fps).  I have a few
compatible cameras (svideo, and bnc) that I would like to use.  I have
tried interfacing them to the computer using a capture card but my
problem is that there is slim support on the software side for this.
I have tried every quicktime and windows direct show plugin listed on
ImageJ's and so far nothing has been stable or worked.

I know that Micro-manager has been mentioned as another option, but I
cannot find any instructions for using it with capture cards.

Does anyone have any other microscope software that may allow me to
achieve my goal?  Perhaps an alternative camera/software option?
