show all ROI does not respect slice info

I find that even when Associate "Show All" RPOs with slices is checked,
all ROI are being shown in all slices. This happens in the daily build,
and in 1.45f. However, in version 1.44  this option appears to work
correctly (ie, when I switch slices the ROIs from other slices are not
marked, as expected).

This happens whether edit mode is selected or not.

I am using OSX 10.5.8, and the java version is 1.6.0_24 (64 bit).

Is this a bug, or am I not using this option correctly?

PS -- I am sorry if this is the time this goes to the list. The first
