Incorrect reporting of bit depth?

Hi
I have opened a 24 bit image in ImageJ, but ImageJ reports it as being 32 bit.
Irfanview, Xscan, Windows and Corel Photopaint all report the image to be 24-bit.

I couldn’t find any link to report bugs on the ImageJ website, so I have decided to put it on the list server in the hope it gets to someone who can check it.
