> The 3D Viewer plugin is creating images that are extremely magnified.  Rescaling to factors of 2 to 8 does not help.  the source volumes are only 512x512 or 640x640, 12-50 slices.  Cropping the source stack to smaller lateral dimensions only makes the result magnified even further. Can you provide some information about the calibration of the stacks,
i.e. the pixel sizes as you find them in ->Image->Properties?
