Green background

Hi all,

when I take a photo at my microscope in trasmitted light by using a white LED
source
with a Nikon Coolpix digital camera 4800 I obtain an image with a light green
background.
I do not understand the reason because the light is white.
How can I solve this problem during or after shooting?
