Is there a plug-in or function in ImageJ like watershed that can separate needle-shape particles?

Hello,

I'm using ImageJ to calculate particles size. I wonder if there are some
plugins that can separate needle-shape particles from each other? Watershed
does not work well for my case because it will also divide single
needle-shape particle into small pieces. Could anyone help me? Thanks a lot!
