calculating and exporting migration distance of gel bands?

Hello ImageJ users,

Is there a simple way of getting band migration distances (in addition to densities, which I have done)? I have DGGE images, so there are a lot of bands in each lane and many lanes per gel. The migration distances need to be as precise as possible. I tried searching archives but didn't find anything relevant - if anyone knows of posts that explain how to do this, please do send me links! Thanks very much!
