Analyze accumulated particle area in Image sequence >>per frame<< not per particle

Hi there
I have image sequences of moving bacteria and i would like to measure the total area of all the particles in each image (frame) not the area for each particle as in the "Analyze Particle" function.
The reason is that i have to process these values together with values measured separately in each frame (see sample image), that means right now i have to go through the whole "results" list and manually add the values from several particles up together to get my cumulative particle area in each frame, which is very tedious in my long sequences.
Does anyone have a solution for such a case? I would be very grateful!
