Analyze ->Threshold

Hi all,
When I use the threshold command and set a lower and upper levels, the image
turns to a binary image, and in the measure results the min and max values
do not represent the thresholds I set (although I set it  in the measurement
options).
In earlier versions of ImageJ it used to work differently...
Did I missed something? An update?
Mainly, what I want to do is(and used to do) very simple - threshold an
image or an ROI within an image and then measure only the remaining pixels
(min, max, intden, stdv, mean etc.)
Please advise.
