uint16

Hi all-

I am having some difficulty opening a set of images in ImageJ and I am not sure if it is a conflict with the image type or if the image set has become corrupted somehow. In Windows Explorer the files do not have a file type associated with them, but based on MATLAB code that is to be used with these images later, I believe they are uint16 images and in Fit2D software they have to be opened as binary images. They should be 2048x2048 and were obtained from a diffraction ring detector. I tried to attach a sample image, but that posting was rejected because the attachment was an "application/octet-stream". In the ImageJ documentation I thought that unsigned 16-bit integer images were supported, but perhaps I am missing something. The error message I am getting is "File is not a supported format, a reader plugin is not available, or it was not found." Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
