Nikolas,

not perfectly sure what you mean by multipoint selection but if this
happens to be a polygon selection, then you can simply draw it
according to the current foreground colour (Edit > Draw). If the line
width is inconvenient, you may set it differently (Edit > Selection >
Properties).
