Plug in for tracking a ROI between stack slices?

I have just started writing a macro to track a ROI through multiple slices of a stack using parameters of Area, Centroid, and Shape as the discriminating variables. However, I wonder if anybody knows of a plugin that does the same job? No need to reinvent the wheel.......
