Rendering Problem?

Dear All,
We have a Windows XP-64 machine with quad Xeons and 24Gb of ram. This
machine has ImageJ 1.43r (but the error occurs even with previous
versions), and has 22GB of RAM assigned to it. I have tried to reduce
the allocated memory to less than 1GB but the error stills occurs.

On this machine alone, when using 32 or 16 bit tiffs, they are rendered
in a fragmented way. If one double clicks in the window or resizes it,
this can sometimes cause the image to be drawn properly.

I attach an image where there should be a circle of grains in the
middle.

Any ideas?
