Hello Florian,

easiest way is to duplicate your selection, in this new image you can fill
the holes and copy it back to the original ROI.

hi, i have a questions concerning binary >> fill holes:

is there a possibility to use this only in an selected area? this works
fine with erode and dilate for example, but the fill hole algorithm always
 
fills holes in the whole image...
