I already went to that site before joining this list and looked through every
page. Not much there to indicate what involvement might be permitted and
further documentation is not available or is missing.

Really. I am not that half dozen developers and my attempt to "upgrade" the
Swing parts does work.It was rather trivial given my years of software
development experience working with Java, C/C++, etc.

Maybe my contribution cannot be among the best that you are
suggesting, but it could be something good that users might want.

Am I to gather that you are saying that my potential contributions are not
wanted?

Then again, I do not know what your relationship is to the project. Are
you in a position to speak on behalf of the project?
