"Adjust Size" vs "Scale"

Hi All,

I must confess to some confusion.  For a long time, I have noticed that the
Image>scale command only adjusts in the X and Y dimension, but does not
change the Z spacing.  Thus, if I wish to rescale a z-series, I have to go
through an additional step of changing the Z distance in the properties
dialog.

Now, according to Wayne, quoted below, the Image>Adjust>Size command will
allow changes in all three dimensions.

I can see that the two commands are different, in that "scale" allows a
function, while "Size" allows a pixel number.  However, only one of them
allows a Z change.  Is this a bug or a feature?
