Did you try with the Bio-Formats Importer plugin (
http://www.loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats-imagej.html)?

If it doesn't work, and you can send a sample non-working file to the
Bio-Formats developers (http://www.loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats-contact.html),
we will look into it.
