Hi,
 
I'm looking for some guidance (technical approaches) to determine the length of an irregular perimeter (metal implant) that is in contact with another object (bone). Both are easily selected by thresholding. I can easily determine the implant perimeter but would like a solution to determine the amount of bone in contact with it.
