Memory Error <Out of memory>

I am stacking approximately 1800 images after which I am using spottracker
to enhance the stack.  When I try to enhance my images I get the following
error:

<Out of memory>
<All available memory (635MB) has been>
<used. Instructions for making more>
<available can be found in the "Memory" >
<sections of the installation notes at>
<http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/docs/install/>

I have followed the steps given by the aforementioned address but with no
luck.  I am running WIndows XP version 2002 SP3 with 2 GB or RAM.  Anyone
have any ideas?
